Court Marriage Process : Legal Requirements
Court marriage is a simple and lawful way to solemnize your marriage. The process is straightforward and ensures legal protection for both parties. Here’s how it works:

- Muslim Couples: Must confirm mutual consent and legal age as per Pakistani law
- 18 years for females
- 21 years for males
- Non-Muslim Couples (Christian, Hindu, etc.): Must verify minimum age and free-will requirements, as governed by Pakistani law and respective religious norms.
- Valid CNIC or Passport for each partner
- Recent Photographs (passport size)
- Affidavit of Free Will to confirm both parties are marrying by choice
- Witnesses (where applicable) with valid identification
- Legal permission or proof of divorce/death certificate of previous spouse (for the partner remarrying)
- You and your witnesses will appear in the relevant court.
